What we collect

Only what the app needs to do its work. Here is the full list.

• Your account — your email address. If you sign in with Google, we also receive the name and profile picture on your Google account.
• Your birth details — the date, the time (or that you don't know it), and the city you were born in. These are the inputs the chart is cast from.
• Your chart, once it's been cast — the computed planet positions and the direction lines your map draws. We keep these on your own record so the app doesn't have to work them out again every time you open a screen. They're worked out entirely from the birth details above; nothing new is asked of you, and they're deleted with your account like everything else.
• Where you live now — the current location you set for the map, either a home address or just a ZIP code, whichever you chose. We store the place name and its coordinates.
• What you're looking for — buying or renting, your budget range, bedrooms and bathrooms, property types, year built, square footage, lot size, number of units, architectural styles, and parking.
• What matters to you — the life areas you weighted during setup, the qualities you want in a home, and which lens you read through.
• What you do in the app — the homes you save, and any request you send about a listing, including the message you type and a phone number if you give one.
• Feedback you send us — the words you write, any screenshots you attach, which screen you were on when you wrote it, and which browser and device you were using. The screen and the device are there so we can find the problem you're describing; nothing about them is used for anything else. If you attach a photo from your camera, its location data is removed before it leaves your phone — we never receive where the picture was taken.
• Your beta agreement — the name you typed, and when you signed it.
• Your subscription — your Stripe customer reference and whether your subscription is active. Your card number never reaches us; Stripe handles the card and we never see it.
• How the app gets used — pages you open and taps you make, recorded through PostHog and tied to your account so we can tell what's confusing and what's working. This includes a replay of your screen as you move through the app, so we can see where people get stuck. What you type into a box is hidden from the replay; what's already on the screen is visible in it.

What we do with it

• Your birth details build your chart — your placements, your planetary lines, and your chapter timing. Nothing else.
• Your current location draws the directions and the sectors out from it, so you can see which way each home sits from you.
• Your preferences decide which homes you're shown and how they're scored.
• Your email address sends you a sign-in code, a welcome note, a subscription receipt, or a reply to something you asked for.
• Usage data tells us which parts of the app are working. It is never used to target you with advertising.
• Feedback you send is read by Brandy and used to fix the app. If you asked something that needs an answer, she replies to the email address on your account.

That's the complete list. We don't build advertising profiles, and your chart is never used for anything other than reading homes for you.

The companies that help run Astraplace

Astraplace is a small operation, so a handful of established services do specific jobs for us. Each one gets only the piece it needs, and each is a service provider working on our behalf under its own privacy terms.

• Supabase — stores your account and everything in this list, and handles signing you in.
• The Swiss Ephemeris — the astronomy engine that turns your birth moment into planet positions. It runs on our own chart service, and it receives only numbers: year, month, day, hour, minute, time-zone offset, latitude and longitude. It never receives your name, your email, or anything that identifies your account.
• Mapbox — turns the place you type into coordinates, and draws the maps.
• Stripe — runs subscriptions and handles your card.
• Resend — delivers our email.
• PostHog — product analytics.
• Vercel and Railway — host the app itself and the chart service that runs the Swiss Ephemeris.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.

We do not sell your information to anyone. We do not hand it to data brokers or advertisers. There is no arrangement under which anyone pays us for it.

When your information reaches a person

One case, and only when you start it: when you ask for a tour, ask a question about a listing, or ask to talk to an agent. That sends your name, your email, the listing address, your message, and your phone number if you gave one to Brandy Brooks and, where the request is routed onward, to the agent handling it.

Nothing from your chart travels with that request. The agent sees a person interested in a house, not your birth data and not your reading.

What we never do

• We never sell, rent, or trade your information.
• We never use it for advertising, ours or anybody else's.
• We never show your chart or your birth details to an agent, or to another member.
• We never use what we know about you to decide which homes you're allowed to see, beyond the preferences you set yourself.

Your choices

• Change your preferences — your life areas, your lens, your home qualities, and your current location are all editable any time in Your Preferences inside the app.
• Change your birth details — these are locked after setup so your chart stays stable. Email us and we'll change them for you.
• Get a copy — email us and we'll send you everything we hold about you.
• Delete everything — see below.

Deleting your data

Open the account menu inside the app and choose "Delete your account". You'll be asked to type one word to confirm, and then it happens — right away, with no waiting period and no reason you need to give. If you'd rather a person did it, email us at hello@astrorealtor.com from the address on your account and ask.

When your account is deleted, everything attached to it goes with it in the same motion: your chart and your birth details, your current location, your preferences and life-area weights, your saved homes, and any requests you sent. This isn't a flag that hides your data — the records are removed from the database.

Three things outlive the delete, and we'd rather say so plainly. Feedback you sent us is kept — the words, any screenshots you attached, and the email address you sent it from. A problem you reported with the app is still a real problem after you've gone, and we keep it so we can finish fixing it. If you'd rather that went too, there's a box to tick on the same screen, and ticking it takes the screenshots with it. If you've already deleted your account, write to us and we'll remove it.

If you've subscribed, Stripe keeps its own payment record, because tax and accounting law requires it. And an email we already sent you sits in your inbox, and in the sending log at Resend.

One thing to do first, if you're subscribed: cancel the subscription before you delete the account, or write to us and we'll do both together. Once the account is gone, we no longer hold the reference we'd need to stop the billing — so the app asks you to sort that out first rather than leave you paying for something you can't open.

If you cancel your subscription but keep your account, nothing is deleted — you simply lose access to the full readings until you subscribe again.

How it's kept

Every table that holds your information has row-level security switched on, which means the database itself refuses to hand your row to any account but yours. It isn't a rule the app remembers to follow; it's enforced a layer below the app.

Screenshots you attach to feedback are kept in private storage, not on the open web. They have no public address at all: viewing one takes a temporary link that only Brandy's own admin screen can create, and that link stops working ten minutes after it is made.

Everything travels over an encrypted connection. During the closed beta, access is limited to a short invite list.

Cookies

Two kinds, both small. One keeps you signed in — without it you'd be logged out every hour. The other is PostHog's, which tells us that a series of taps came from the same visit. We don't run advertising cookies and there are no third-party trackers on the app.

Children

Astraplace is built for adults looking for a home. It isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect anything from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

If you're in California

California residents have the right to know what personal information a business collects, to ask for a copy, to ask for it to be deleted, and not to be treated differently for asking. This page is our disclosure, and the deletion section is how you exercise those rights. We don't sell personal information, so there's nothing for you to opt out of.

Changes to this page

If what we collect ever changes, this page changes first, and the date at the bottom moves. If the change is a meaningful one, we'll email you rather than quietly editing the page.
